Relaunched in 2023
The Equity Gap Podcast (formerly the Colour Gap)
In 2019, I co-launched the Colour Gap podcast with my then co-worker and dear friend Susy Ko where we unpacked our experiences navigating corporate environments as women of colour and children of immigrants.
In 2021, I took the podcast solo and focused on unconventional career strategy and advice that centred the unique experiences of Black, Indigenous and women of colour.
My life and work have since pivoted to focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in a more fullsome way and with the Equity Gap podcast comes the opportunity to place equity at the forefront of our conversations to enact meaningful change. I’m tired of performative action, I’m tired of not speaking my truth, I’m tired of Canadian leaders hiding behind niceness to skirt responsibility and I’m tired of sitting on the sidelines while marginalized communities continue to be harmed.
In the spirit of anything I do, you’ll always get my musings, authentic expression, rawness and the distinct insight that is pulled from my own personal and professional journey. It’s always no holds barred and well worth a listen.
Listen to the Equity Gap Podcast on Apple podcasts. New episodes released monthly. I’m also really, deeply proud of the work that Susy and I did with the Colour Gap way before it was cool to have a podcast :) and immensely proud of my solo work on the Colour Gap podcast. I encourage you to check out old episodes which are still available to listen to through the link above.
